Daredevil: The Devil, Inside and Out

For Daredevil fans who has been following the storyline from Daredevil Volume 1-13 which ended with The Murdock Papers will have been aware that Matt Murdock has been exposed as Daredevil. While the government cannot prove that Matt Murdock is Daredevil, they have been trying very hard. Daredevil has became more violent in the protection of his beloved district, Hells' Kitchen. Living a life as an exposed superhero is not easy, as Matt soon found out. All his friends are in dangers from criminals seeking revenge. I have enjoyed the series by Brian Michael Bendis and Alex Maleev. I have always wondered what a man will do when he is driven to the edge. When everything he had, everything he fought hard for was taken away from him.

Marvel has revamped Daredevil: The Man Without Fear by bringing in the new creative team of Ed Brubaker and Michael Lark. They took off from the finale of The Murdock Papers.

Matt Murdock is now in prison awaiting trial. He is there with many of the criminals whom he has helped put there, both as Daredevil and as lawyer Matt Murdock. Also in the same prison are the Kingpin and Bullseye. Now all the prisoners know he is Daredevil. Matt have to survive in the most notorius prison in the state. The prison itself is controlled by three factions of prisoners.

Then his best friend and defence lawyer, Foggy Nelson was knifed to death in the very prison after visiting him! How much can a man take before he goes over edge? Will Daredevil give in to his rage and become the devil himself? This an interesting start to hopefully another exciting storyline in the Daredevil saga.

BTW Daredevil/ Matt Murdock is a devoted Catholic.
