PhD Dissertation Writing

Spent the last 5 days in my study writing my dissertation, all 277 pages of it.

Kids, don't try this at home. It's hazardous to your health!

  10. Hi Alwyn,

That's the way I write. I find it difficult to write in parts and installments. My writing style is to download it all in one go. And I have to find protected writing time in my busy schedule. Then I just write continuously until there is nothing else to say. The writing is the culmination of three years of reading, researching, thinking and reflecting, i.e. agonising over my research area. This is my style of writing and I am sure everyone has their own style.
